Problem With Dragons
Hailing from Easthampton, MA, PWD is quickly gaining notoriety on the music scene, touring all across the country.
“Problem With Dragons plays a heavy, fuzzed-out, unself-conscious music, a meaty stew of metal, punk and stoner rock with a dash of sludge. The songs feature layered, multi-tracked vocals that range from eerie and creepy to primal scream, all backed by heavy riffage that alternatively shreds and plods.” -Matthew Dube, Valley Advocate.

Lansdowne
Boston rock band Lansdowne rocked the house at OAHS during the fundraiser Talent 4 A Cure. Put on by students, the concert raised thousands of dollars for the child vitims of civil war in Uganda.
“… Lansdowne fits into many genres but non simultaneously. Their music features vivid storytelling and a silky-smooth delivery that ranks them among some of the top unsigned bands out there today.” Absoutepunk.net Top 100 bands of 2008
Oliver Ames High School
After being asked to find a headliner for the 2009 edition of Talent 4 A Cure, we got in touch with Lansdowne. More than excited to participate in the cause, a contract was reached between OAHS and Lansdowne, and the rest is history.
Invisible Children
Being the sponsored charity at Talent 4 A Cure, we got to know a lot about this organization. While securing press for Lansdowne and Talent 4 A Cure, we also made Invisible Children an integral part of the concert’s media campaign. When people became aware of what a worthy cause Lansdowne was playing for and of the students’ hard work, the concert for Invisible Children became a hugely successful fundraising event.
